Key Responsibilities:
Offer students guidance across various subjects, including mathematics, science, language arts, and special education (both in-person and online) Tailor teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles, ensuring each student is engaged and challenged appropriately. Utilize students' school materials to provide engaging, dynamic supplemental instruction Foster a supportive environment, providing mentorship to ensure a thriving space for learning and personal development. Maintain open, heartfelt communication with students and parents, sharing progress updates and strategies for overcoming challenges. Assess student progress thoughtfully, adapting instructional strategies to best support growth and achievement.
Requirements:
Demonstrated experience in tutoring or teaching, with a preference for expertise in early childhood education or adult education settings. Proven ability to connect with children or young adults in an educational setting. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, fostering effective dialogue with students and parents. Proficiency in leveraging learning technologies to enhance the tutoring experience is highly valued. Experience in special education is a plus, as we strive to meet every student's unique needs.
