What You'll Do Provide personalized 1:1 tutoring for K-12 math students Teach Common Core Math I-IV (Calculus and Statistics experience is a plus) Assess each student's strengths and learning gaps Create customized lesson plans and instructional materials based on each student's needs Build lasting relationships with students and families Record brief session notes after each lesson Communicate professionally with parents when needed Deliver engaging virtual and/or in-person tutoring sessions We Provide Everything You Need You focus on teaching—we'll handle the logistics. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of tutoring or teaching experience Strong knowledge of K-12 mathematics aligned with the Common Core curriculum Comfortable teaching High School Math I, II, III and IV Calculus and/or Statistics experience preferred Excellent communication skills Reliable transportation for in-person sessions (Raleigh, Cary, Apex) Reliable high-speed internet and quiet workspace for virtual tutoring Availability Minimum commitment of 6-10 hours per week Availability during after-school hours (Monday-Friday, approximately 3:00 PM-8:00 PM) Available throughout the 2026-2027 school year Available to teach in-person at local libraries​ in Cary, Apex, Raleigh NC.
