Job Description

Reading & Math Interventionist — Part-TimeGifted Stars Christian Academy | Cary/RTP, NC Gifted Stars Christian Academy is seeking a patient, engaging interventionist to help students ages 3-9 strengthen their phonics and number sense skills. The interventionist will pull small groups of 2-3 students for focused, 30-minute sessions.
Schedule:
Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, 9:00-11:00 a.m.
Pay:
$18-$25 per hour, based on experience Responsibilities Lead 30-minute phonics and number sense sessions for groups of 2-3 students. Adapt hands-on activities to each group's age and learning level. Track progress and share brief updates with the classroom teacher. Build students' skills and confidence in a warm, encouraging environment. Qualifications Experience teaching or tutoring young children. Knowledge of foundational phonics and early math instruction. Patience, reliability, and comfort working with students of different ages and learning needs. Ability to complete required background checks.
