Afterschool•Tutors Afterschool Program. Grades second through eighth. Hours of operation 2:30 PM•6:30 PM Monday•
Friday Qualification:
Bachelor's Degree and Teacher Certification Requirements:
We are seeking a caring, energetic After‑School Teacher to support students in reading, science, and STEM. The ideal candidate enjoys hands‑on learning, keeps students engaged, and creates a safe, structured classroom environment. Key Responsibilities Lead STEM & Science Activities — Facilitate fun, age‑appropriate science projects, experiments, and STEM challenges that build problem‑solving, math, and logic skills. Support Reading Development — Guide students through reading practice, vocabulary building, and literacy activities that strengthen language skills. Plan Daily Lessons — Create simple, engaging lesson plans tailored to multiple age groups and learning levels. Maintain a Safe Environment — Supervise students, encourage positive behavior, and ensure the classroom remains clean, organized, and welcoming. Communicate with Families — Provide daily updates on student progress, behavior, and accomplishments.
