Job Description

Job Overview Position Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and creative In-Person Acting Tutor to provide one-on-one for a special needs young man. The tutor will help students build confidence, improve communication, develop performance skills, and prepare for auditions, school plays, or personal growth.
Responsibilities:
Conduct engaging in-person acting lessons. Teach acting techniques, improvisation, voice projection, and stage presence. Coach students on monologues, scripts, and character development. Help students improve confidence, public speaking, and self-expression. Prepare students for auditions, performances, and theater productions. Create individualized lesson plans based on each student's goals and skill level. Provide constructive feedback and encourage continuous improvement. Maintain a positive, supportive, and professional learning environment.
Qualifications:
Experience in acting, theater, drama, or performing arts. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Experience teaching or mentoring children, teens, or adults preferred. Reliable transportation for in-person sessions. Patient, enthusiastic, and dependable. Bachelor's degree in Acting, Theater Arts, Drama, Performing Arts, or a related field required
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of stage movement and improvisation. Experience with audition coaching. Ability to adapt lessons to different ages and learning style.
Work Schedule:
Flexible part-time Evening and weekend availability preferred. Sessions conducted in person at the student's home, community location, or studio .
