Tutoring is a wonderful opportunity to provide equitable support to students, help them gain confidence, and guide them in areas where they're struggling. Step up, become a tutor, and help students accelerate their learning! The role of a tutor. Work in small group sessions with students during school. These sessions are in-person. Understand student learning gaps based on information given to you and teach district-provided curriculum that is tailored to each student's need. Also assist with homework, projects, and other academic tasks. Foster strong and positive relationships with students through significant, consistent, and regular amounts of time. Evaluate and report student progress. Work in collaboration with classroom teachers and school administration, under the direct supervision of the Kelly® Education Tutoring Solutions Team. Specific information about the Kelly® Education tutoring program in Bridgeton, NJ. Provide in-person ELA tutoring sessions for grade levels K-8 Work in small groups throughout the school day (in-class and pull out) Must be available Monday - Friday, approximately 8:00am - 3pm (schedules vary slightly by school) Tutors will receive direct guidance from the teachers of record in the classes. Each tutor will work with multiple groups per day in both push in and pull out sessions at the direction of the classroom teacher Tutors will be fully integrated into student classrooms Minimum Requirements Bachelor's Degree preferred Previous tutoring/teaching experience required Perks you'll enjoy as a Kelly® Education tutor.
