Role:

Sylvan Learning Center in Marlton, NJ is looking for a passionate and patient Math Tutor to help students in Grade 5 and above unlock their full potential. Join a team dedicated to building confidence and academic success in a supportive, student-centered environment!

Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging, one-on-one or small group math tutoring sessions for students in Grade 6 and above Assess individual student needs and adapt instructional strategies accordingly Reinforce core math concepts including pre-algebra, algebra, geometry, and beyond Track and document student progress and communicate updates to Center Director Create a positive, encouraging learning environment that builds student confidence Collaborate with center directors to align tutoring with each student's personalized learning plan

Requirements:

Strong proficiency in math at the middle school level and above Prior tutoring, teaching, or mentoring experience of minimum three (3) years preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with students and parents Patient, encouraging, and adaptable teaching style Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor Associate's degree or higher in Education, Mathematics, or a related field preferred Certified teacher Why work with us: Flexible work schedule. Pay:

$20.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 10.0 per week
