Part Time English Overview We are seeking a versatile and dedicated Part Time English tutor to support students across various grade levels. This role involves providing engaging instruction in English for students from kindergarten through 12th grade, including preparation for the SAT. The position offers flexibility and the opportunity to make a positive impact on students' academic progress. No lesson planning, grading, or parent-teacher conferences are required, making this an ideal role for educators seeking part-time work with a flexible schedule. Responsibilities Deliver effective tutoring sessions in English tailored to students' individual needs across K-12 grades. Assist students in developing their understanding of core concepts in English language arts. Support SAT preparation by providing targeted instruction to help students improve their test performance. Adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles and levels of ability. Maintain a positive, encouraging learning environment to foster student engagement and confidence. Experience Previous experience teaching or tutoring English at the K-12 level is a must. Flexibility in teaching approach to accommodate diverse student needs and schedule is essential. Strong communication skills and patience are important qualities for success in this role. Bachelor's/Master or Teaching certification a must.
