Actual Solutions Tutoring has an immediate need for a tutor who is open to working with an adult learner with disabilities.

Location :

Mahwah, NJ (IN- PERSON)

Time Commitment :

Two 1- hour sessions per week

Availability of Client :

Tuesdays, Thursdays , and Fridays after 1:30

PM Additional Details:

26 year old female who loves academics and would like help with writing skills and potentially other basic academics. Mom is unsure of what level she is on but possibly late elementary to middle school level. Tutoring would be in the family home with the client's nurse present.

Responsibilities:

Provide individualized support in learning basic math concepts Assist with money management, including budgeting, counting, and making transactions Encourage skill-building and promote independence Adapt teaching methods to meet the client's learning style and pace Maintain a positive, patient, and supportive environment
