Position Overview We are seeking an experienced, dedicated, and enthusiastic Math Tutor to join our growing team. The ideal candidate possesses a strong academic background in mathematics and can connect with learners of all ages—from foundational elementary math up to advanced high school coursework, including AP Calculus . Because our services are delivered directly to clients, reliable access to personal transportation is required to travel to students' homes in the Reno area. College students, credentialed educators, and seasoned instructors are all encouraged to apply!

Key Responsibilities Personalized Instruction:

Deliver engaging, individualized tutoring sessions tailored to each student's unique learning style, pace, and academic goals.

Advanced Subject Support:

Tutor students across a wide grade spectrum, with specific emphasis and proficiency in middle school math, high school math, and AP Calculus.

Curriculum & Lesson Planning:

Develop targeted lesson plans and practice materials for students of varying ages and abilities.

Progress Tracking:

Regularly assess student understanding, track academic progress, and provide clear, constructive feedback to parents and guardians.

Skill Building:

Help students develop vital foundational habits, including effective study strategies, time management, and organizational skills.

Mentorship & Motivation:

Foster a supportive, encouraging environment that inspires students to overcome academic challenges and reach their full potential.

Qualifications & Requirements Academic Excellence:

Strong academic background in mathematics (degree, current coursework, or extensive tutoring experience in advanced math).

Documentation:

Willingness to provide an academic transcript verifying coursework and proficiency.

Teaching Expertise:

Demonstrated ability to teach math from elementary foundations through AP Calculus.

Personal Qualities:

Logistics:

Valid driver's license, reliable personal vehicle, and willingness to travel to students' homes for in-person sessions.
