Tutor will be working with students 1-on-1 for math and ELA support. These are students who have been identified as having a need for tutoring. Sessions will be 1 hour to 1.5 hours long with the tutor working one-on-one with the students for 20-30 minutes each. The Center is asking for tutors to do 1 hour to 1.5 hour sessions two times a week for a total of 10 hours a month. The tutor must be available to meet for these sessions between 3-5pm Monday through Friday when the center is open. Tutor will be working at the Center's site in Elyria, OH next to Crestwood Elementary School. Qualifications Ideal candidates have prior experience working with elementary students. Ideal candidates will have prior experience teaching/tutoring elementary ELA & math skills. Ideal candidates will have experience working with special needs students. Willing to travel within your preferred local radius to meet the student (typically 5-10 miles) Due to insurance requirements, applicants must not be a minor.
