Job Description:
Job summary: The Student Assistant will support faculty and students by providing academic assistance and instructional support. Responsibilities include tutoring during scheduled office hours, assisting in the development of tests and quizzes, delivering short lectures based on homework topics, and conducting test review sessions.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring during office hours. Assist in creating and formatting tests, quizzes, and other assessments. Create homework keys to be posted in Brightspace. Attend lectures to insure proper alignment of instruction with assessment. Deliver mini-lectures to clarify homework concepts. Lead review sessions to prepare students for upcoming exams.
Qualifications:
Strong understanding of course material and related subject matter. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Reliable, organized, and able to work independently.
Target Starting Salary:
$15.45/
