Job Title:
K-8 Academic Tutor & Event / Club Leader (Flexible Hours) About Us We are a small, dedicated team passionate about helping students thrive academically and socially! We are looking for engaging, dependable, and enthusiastic tutors to join our growing team. If you love working with kids and want a flexible schedule, we'd love to connect with you. The Role We are seeking independent contractors to provide academic tutoring for students in Kindergarten through 8th Grade. In addition to tutoring, there are exciting leadership opportunities for interested contractors to lead or facilitate various student clubs, workshops, and community events that we host throughout the year! Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality 1-on-1 or small group tutoring in core subjects (Math, Reading, Science, Writing) for K-8 students. Adapt teaching methods to meet individual student learning styles and needs. (Optional/Opportunity) Lead or assist with student enrichment clubs, workshops, and special events. Communicate student progress clearly with parents and our team. Schedule & Flexibility This is an independent contractor position with high schedule flexibility. You can work as much or as little as you'd like, based on student demand and your personal availability.
Our Operating Hours:
Weekdays:
4:30 PM - 9:30
PM Saturdays:
9:00 AM - 3:00 PM Qualifications Prior experience tutoring, teaching, or mentoring students in the K-8 age range. Strong subject knowledge in elementary and middle school curriculum. Enthusiastic, patient, and strong communication skills. Ability to work independently and maintain a reliable, punctual schedule. Leadership skills or interest in leading youth clubs/activities is a strong plus!
Pay:
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
