Position Overview We are seeking part-time academic tutors for in-home and virtual tutoring opportunities in the Orlando area, with potential for virtual support across Florida. This role is ideal for tutors who are knowledgeable, dependable, professional with families, and able to explain concepts clearly in a calm and encouraging way. Current tutoring needs may include

• K-12 academic tutoring
• College support
• College prep
• Middle school and high school math
• Algebra and Geometry
• Reading and writing support
• Study skills and academic coaching
• SAT / test prep support
• Spanish tutoring
• Arabic language support
• Islamic studies instruction What you'll do
• Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions tailored to each student's needs and goals
• Support students in building confidence, consistency, and stronger academic performance
• Adjust your teaching approach based on the student's learning style and pace
• Communicate professionally with families when needed
• Submit a short session summary after each lesson
• Maintain professionalism, punctuality, and respectful boundaries during all sessions What we're looking for
• Strong subject knowledge in the area(s) you want to teach
• Prior tutoring, teaching, mentoring, or academic support experience preferred
• Clear and professional communication
• A calm, patient, and encouraging teaching style
• Reliability and strong time management
• Comfort working with students one-on-one
• Reliable transportation for in-home tutoring opportunities Position details
