In this role, you will empower high school students to excel in their college admissions journey by providing expert guidance in essay writing, standardized test preparation, and overall academic skills. Experience helping students write "winning" essays and achieving, or surpassing their test goals. Create an engaging, personalized learning experience that inspire confidence and achievement. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' futures while honing your teaching expertise. Duties Deliver comprehensive tutoring sessions focused on college essay writing, SAT and ISEE test preparation, and ACT guidance. Develop customized lesson plans and curriculum materials tailored to each student's goals, strengths, and areas for improvement. Utilize online tutoring platforms and educational technology tools to facilitate interactive lessons that enhance learning outcomes. Assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and adjusting instruction strategies accordingly. Teach test-taking strategies, time management skills, and critical thinking techniques to maximize exam performance. Support students in developing strong writing skills, including organization, clarity, grammar, and persuasive techniques for college essays. Manage classroom or virtual learning environments effectively, maintaining engagement and motivation among teenagers from diverse backgrounds. Experience Prior experience working with high school students in tutoring or classroom settings, especially in test preparation or essay coaching. Proven success in teaching
