Full-Time Millikin University invites applications for a Graduate Writing Tutor beginning August 17, 2026. This position will work 5 to 12 hours per week (flat rate of 5 hours per week, with up to 7 additional hours based on workload). Position will be paid through Accounts Payable and not eligible for benefits.
This position is responsible for:
Synchronous online tutoring of graduate students, for up to 9 hours per week. Asynchronous editing of graduate writing submissions, for up to 3 hours per week. Minimum Qualifications Master's degree or higher. Strong background in graduate level scholarly writing. Teaching and tutoring experience. Experience in advising multimodal writing. Knowledge of different citation styles, especially APA. Ability to support graduate students in an online tutoring environment. Ability to lead writing workshops. Flexible meeting times.
