Test Prep Chicago Chicago, IL Job Details Part-time | Contract $45 - $65 an hour 11 hours ago Benefits Paid training Flexible schedule Qualifications Working with high schoolers Numeracy Math Bachelor's degree Teaching experience with teenagers Working with middle schoolers Coaching high school students Full Job Description Test Prep Chicago is looking to hire tutors for group and individual tutoring for 6th graders, 8th graders, and high school students for Chicago's academic center entrance exam, high school entrance exams and SAT/ACT. Teaching/tutoring experience is desired but not required. Applicants must be college graduates. Applicants must be comfortable teaching classes ranging from 10-25 students and interacting with middle school and high school students and parents. Our test prep classes cover the following subjects: math, reading, language, and vocabulary. Tutors must be strong in BOTH reading/language skills as well as math skills. Paid training will be provided for all tutors. Both group and individual tutoring sessions will be in-person, however, online tutoring opportunities may be available. We will do our best to match tutors with convenient teaching locations for all in-person tutoring sessions. Tutor compensation ranges between $45 - $65 per hour.
