Job Description

TITLE:

Tutor (University Students)

LOCATION

Participating Elementary Schools (e.g., Calhoun, Concord)

DURATION

8 Week Program- Fall Semester

QUALIFICATIONS

Candidate must be actively enrolled and in good standing with his/her

Candidate must be available to assist during the times determined by the school principal.

OBJECTIVE

To provide students with academic support in the areas of reading and mathematics in order to meet or exceed grade level performance expectations.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES

Collaborates with administrators and teachers. Assists with the collection of data, analysis of data results and organization of the results.

Delivers intensive prescriptive remediation/instruction to students to increase academic achievement in reading and math using research-based programs.

Provides the classroom teacher and administration with regular reports regard student progress.

Maintains and submits accurate and up-to-date management records of all students' progress.

Maintains confidentiality concerning student records.

Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

2-5 hours weekly; $20/hour; tutoring begins on/after September 10, 2026 and will last up to 8 weeks
