Key Responsibilities:
Provide personalized, one-on-one Geometry tutoring designed to meet the student's academic needs and learning goals Deliver clear and focused instruction in Geometry concepts appropriate for a 10th-grade student Strengthen the student's understanding of geometric reasoning, angles, lines, shapes, measurements, proofs, coordinate geometry, and related mathematical concepts Explain challenging mathematical topics using practical examples and easy-to-understand instructional methods Create and use individualized lesson plans, practice exercises, and supplemental learning materials aligned with the student's coursework Adapt teaching strategies and lesson delivery based on the student's learning pace, strengths, and areas for improvement Track student progress, identify academic gaps, and adjust instruction to support continued improvement Maintain an organized, engaging, and supportive tutoring environment that encourages confidence and independent learning Travel to and conduct in-person tutoring sessions at the agreed-upon location in Allen, TX 75002 Communicate consistently with the coordinator regarding student progress, attendance, and scheduling updates Commit to approximately 2 hours of tutoring per week
