The ideal candidate will have experience teaching math, particularly in algebra and geometry, and will be responsible for providing personalized instruction to help students improve their understanding and performance. This paid position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' academic success by fostering confidence and competence in mathematics. Responsibilities Deliver engaging and effective tutoring sessions focused on algebra and geometry concepts. Assess individual student needs and tailor lessons accordingly to address areas of difficulty. Support students in developing problem-solving skills and mathematical reasoning. Track student progress and provide constructive feedback to encourage continuous improvement. Maintain a positive, encouraging learning environment that motivates students to achieve their academic goals. Collaborate with parents or guardians as needed to communicate student progress and areas for improvement. Qualifications At least one year of tutoring experience, preferably with middle school students. Strong knowledge of algebra and geometry topics. Proven ability to teach math effectively, with excellent communication skills. Patience, adaptability, and a passion for helping students succeed academically. Reliable, responsible, and committed to providing quality educational support.
Pay:
$19.00 - $22.00 per hour
