Our mission is to help improve educational opportunities for students from low-income households and encourage academic excellence. Experience Candidates must have at least 1 year of classroom teaching experience. Duties
  • Provide one-on-one or group tutoring sessions to students in ELA/Reading comprehension for grades 7-12.
  • Develop and implement personalized lesson plans based on students' needs and learning goals.
  • Utilize learning technology and computerized resources to enhance the tutoring experience.
  • Foster a positive and supportive learning environment
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to students and parents/guardians. Skills
  • Strong knowledge of the subject matter
  • Experience in lesson planning to meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Proficiency in utilizing learning technology and computerized resources for instructional purposes.
  • Knowledge of techniques for working with young learners.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively explain concepts and engage students in the learning process.

Additional skills may be required based on specific subject areas or grade levels. We offer competitive compensation rates for tutors and pay mileage for travel to tutoring locations up to 10 miles each way.
