Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, individualized instruction to middle and high school students across various math levels. Guide students through Huntington's proven curriculum and assist with homework/concept reinforcement. Track student progress, session notes, and mastery in our center management system. Foster a positive, encouraging, and motivating learning atmosphere. Math Subject Areas Candidates should be proficient in teaching one or more of the following: Middle School Math / Foundations Algebra I & Algebra II Geometry Pre-Calculus & Trigonometry AP Calculus (AB/BC) / Advanced Math (preferred)
SAT & ACT
Math Exam Prep (preferred)
Qualifications & Requirements Education:
Minimum of a 4-year Bachelor's degree (required; STEM, Education, or related field preferred).
Experience:
Prior teaching, tutoring, or instructional experience preferred.
Certification:
State Teaching Certificate or License is a plus, but not required. Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Passion for mentoring students and helping them reach their academic potential. Dependable, punctual, and professional presence. Schedule & Availability Instruction takes place in 2-hour blocks during our peak student hours: Monday
  • Friday:
    Afternoons & Evenings (3:00 PM
  • 5:00 PM, 5:00 PM
  • 7:00 PM, and 7:00 PM
  • 9:00 PM)
Saturday:
Mornings (9:00 AM
  • 1:00 PM)
Requirement:
