In-Person Elementary Tutor

Job Overview We are seeking an enthusiastic, patient, and dedicated Elementary Teacher to join our team at Ottimmo. This is an in-person role focused on providing high-quality, personalized instruction to students in grades K-5. The ideal candidate will have a passion for foundational education and a desire to grow within a local business. Duties Deliver in-person tutoring sessions tailored to individual student needs, focusing on foundational subjects such as reading, writing, math, and science Develop and implement creative lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and promote active learning Regularly assess student performance through observations and formal evaluations; maintain detailed records of academic growth. Utilize learning technology and educational resources to enhance student engagement and understanding Collaborate with parents, teachers, to coordinate instructional strategies and address student challenges Maintain detailed records of tutoring sessions, student achievements, and areas for further development Prior classroom experience working with children in elementary or preschool settings is highly preferred Strong knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques Experience with special education or early childhood education is a plus Familiarity with learning technology tools used in educational settings Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues Demonstrated ability to work with diverse learners and adapt teaching methods accordingly Childcare or preschool experience that showcases patience and nurturing qualities is advantageous Embark on a fulfilling journey where your passion for education transforms young minds!
