Job Description

Magikid Highland Park is seeking Coding instructors / coach / teacher to teach coding ( Scratch / Python / Unity) , and 3D modeling related courses to students aged 5-14 for after school programs in our north Dallas location. Work hours are 12:30 - 3:30 PM on weekdays. This is an in-person position in Dallas, Texas. Magikid provides regular training on curriculum, student instruction and class management, mastering new high tech tools, and learning about cutting-edge technology trends and other high-end robotics education resources.
Your responsibilities will include:
Instructing children in group classes using Magikid teaching material and lesson plans Providing a safe and engaging learning environment Assisting with marketing events, birthday parties, and promoting Magikid's educational programs Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
A passion for technology and education Must love working with kids! Experience in teaching, counseling, or working with K-12 aged kids CS major and coding background preferred Experience and expertise in Python, Unity, and Scratch. Authorized to work for a US based company Bonus points if you: Like building things and solving challenging puzzles Are a self-starter, like to make things, figure out things, learn, or creative problem solving within specific rules or resource constraints (like a robot competition or gaming) Past experience working in a technology company or startup.
