About us LMA Tutoring is a small business in Dallas, TX. We are professional, agile and our goal is to educate students in Mathematics in the DFW area and help families achieve their educational goals.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated tutor to join our team. As a tutor, you will provide academic support and guidance to students in various subjects in Mathematics, helping them achieve their educational goals.
Responsibilities:
  • Educate students in subjects such as Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Geometry, Algebra 2, Precalculus, Calculus, or Statistics.
  • Develop personalized lesson plans to address the individual needs of each student.
  • Assist students in understanding complex concepts and improving their academic performance.
  • Provide feedback on student progress and areas for improvement.
  • Create a supportive and encouraging learning environment.
Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in the subjects mentioned above with a strong foundation in education.
  • Previous tutoring or teaching experience is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit the learning styles of different students.
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field is a plus.
  • Driving to meet students at nearby libraries, coffee shops, or student's homes.
