Star Tutoring is HIRING! We are looking for energetic STEM Tutors to join us and lead our daily sessions. Part time and full time positions are available for the summer, fall and spring semesters. Please note:

prior tutoring experience is a plus, but is not necessary for this position. We're very interested if… You have prior tutoring experience. You can tutor multiple subject areas (math, science, history and/or English). You are working towards, or hold, an advanced degree in the subject(s) you specialize. You have a degree in education or special education. You have experience working with students with dyslexia, autism, anxiety, or attention deficit disorder (ADD/ADHD). You can identify students with potential learning differences. About the schedule... During the school year, our most popular times are Monday-Thursday 4:00pm-8:00pm and any time on Saturday or Sunday. During summer, we hold sessions through the day. We sometimes have opportunities for morning or early afternoon. If you join us during the school year, we ask that you plan to stay with us through the end of the school year (end of May) to minimize disruptions for our clients. If you join us for summer, we ask that you plan to stay the entire summer. We ask all tutors to try to maintain a consistent weekly schedule of availability but we will work with you if you have occasional schedule conflicts. Our administrative staff handles scheduling and contacts with parents so that you can focus on best serving your clients.
