No lesson planning, grading or parent meeting...Looking for 2-3 hr. commitment of 1
  • 6 days after school (Flexible hours).
Looking for retired teacher/substitute teacher/teacher at school/any one with tutoring experience Employee discount. Sylvan Learning Centers are the industry leaders in providing supplemental education to children in pre-K through 12th grade. We provide individualized instruction in Comprehension, Reading, English, Writing, Math and Study Skills. We also offer ACT and SAT Test Prep. If you aspire to inspire, then we want you on our team!
Requirements:
Hold a bachelor's or master degree. Able to teach Math/Language Arts Skills and Qualities necessary: Enjoy working with kids of all ages. Strong communication skills and the ability to multi-task. Teach using Sylvan based programs. Direct and motivate students during instruction. Reward students for successful work Evaluate and document student progress Communicate student needs to our Educational Team Develop rapport with students and establish a fun, engaging learning environment Maintain a positive attitude and demonstrate enthusiasm for teaching and Sylvan.
