• Part-time At The Tutoring Center, Prosper, we provide individualized instruction that builds confidence and drives results.

As we expand into test preparation, we are looking for a test prep tutor and/or coordinator to lead, grow, and deliver a high quality program for our students. This is a leadership plus instructional role and you will be responsible for overseeing, developing, and executing our test prep program. This role blends instruction, program management, and family communication, making it ideal for someone who is both academically strong and highly organized. You must possess not only the aptitude for SAT and/or ACT problems but also the personality and professionalism that our students and their parents expect. If you excel at solving SAT-type problems, motivating students, and delivering personalized service, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilites:

Program Leadership

• as the coordinator overseeing the test prep program Instruction-tutor math and/or reading & writing Assessment and Data Tracking-maintain organized student data Parent and Student Communication
• communicate goals, progress, and next steps Team Collaboration-guide and support tutors assisting with test prep students

Qualifications:

Demonstrate a high level of proficiency in the SAT subjects you wish to teach (700+ in each subject) and/or a 32+ on the ACT Possess a degree from a selective college or university or attending college now with excellent grades Experience in tutoring, teaching, or test prep (preferred) Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to motivate and connect with high school students Benefits of working for The Tutoring Center® include: Competitive Pay. Paid training program. We have a mandatory training program to prepare you. Previous SAT-prep experience is a plus. Ongoing support. Friendly support from our office staff (we're tutors, too!) and additional training opportunities to enhance your abilities. Build your own schedule. Tutoring sessions are on weekends and weekday evenings. Some scheduling flexibility is essential. Focus on your strengths. Proficiency in both math and verbal areas is valued but you may specialize in just one of these areas.
