Job Responsibilities Teach through Mathnasium methodology and terminology, using prescribed teaching practices Actively encourage, motivate, and engage with students during the instructional session Correct student work and provide positive, constructive feedback Manage student behavior to create a positive environment that optimizes learning Communicate student needs to center leadership and instructional staff in a team-teaching environment Maintain a growth mindset toward student learning and teaching practice. Assist in non-teaching tasks, which may include cleaning, administrative assistance, or other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Passion for math and working with students Excellent interpersonal skills Eagerness to learn and be trained Exceptional math competency through Elementary Math Ability to balance various ongoing tasks All applicants will be required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency, provide work authorization, and pass a background check. Additional Info We ask that Instructors are available to work for at least 5 hours each week. Scheduling is flexible, and we are more than happy to work with school and other work schedules. Instructors are paid from $12-$15/hour depending on experience, education, and math skills. There are opportunities for advancement into other positions- e.g., Lead Instructor.
