Responsibilities Deliver effective online or in-person tutoring sessions tailored to individual student needs in subjects such as mathematics, science, English language arts, and test preparation including SATs. Develop customized lesson plans and curriculum materials that align with students' learning goals and educational standards. Build positive relationships with students and maintain appropriate communication with families. Adapt teaching methods to accommodate various learning styles, including those of students with special education needs or from diverse cultural backgrounds. Assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and adjusting instructional strategies accordingly. Support students in developing critical skills such as writing, classroom management, and problem-solving through engaging activities. Maintain consistent communication with Mindset2Learn Tutoring and Leadership Team. Travel to students' homes and or local libraries throughout the

DMV Qualifications:

Prior experience in tutoring or teaching, especially in math, science, English language arts, or test preparation such as SAT coaching. Strong knowledge of math, reading, and or writing at the middle and or high school level. Ability to explain concepts clearly and adapt instruction to different learning styles Strong communication, organization and interpersonal skills. Dependable, patient, professional, and committed to student success. Flexible availability, particularly during after-school hours, evenings and weekends.
