Learn Thrive Grow Academic Support (LTG) is hiring experienced Elementary Reading Specialists/Tutors. We're looking for new additions to our high-achieving team of educators who are ready to hit the ground running beginning mid-August! Are you… Available for in-home tutoring during the 2026-2027 school year in McLean, VA and surrounding areas? Passionate about providing personalized, in-home support to help their students succeed in school and life? An organized go-getter who has experience teaching or tutoring? Searching for a friendly, supportive company where your expertise will be valued? Looking for a highly collaborative work environment that supports and encourages creativity and provides autonomy? At LTG, we take the time to get to know you and hand-pick our tutors to optimize student learning. In addition to their subject matter expertise, our educators see themselves as detectives, seeking out student's strengths and challenges to get to the root of academic problems. LTG tutors are also experts at relationship-building - building lasting rapport with their students to set the right tone for learning and confidence building. They meet the highest standards of professionalism and customer service and are committed to their students for the long-term. Tools you will need to come equipped with: Bachelor's degree and year of graduation shown on your resume (or current enrollment in a four-year university). Willingness to work with students in-home. Commitment to working with any students you accept through December 2026. Minimum of one year of tutoring and/or teaching experience. A professional work ethic with strong organizational and time management skills. Strong written, virtual, and phone communication skills. A reliable mode of (personal) transportation.
