Experience with autism, ADHD, or sensory processing needs is preferred. Formal special education experience is not required—we provide training and support from certified special education teachers and support personnel. This is a hands-on, play-based role using sensory integration, movement, and engaging activities to improve focus, learning, confidence, and independence. Key Duties Provide one-on-one academic tutoring using engaging, individualized strategies. Use play, movement, and sensory activities to improve focus and readiness to learn. Provide sensory and movement breaks as needed. Work in a dedicated sensory/learning room within a dental clinic . Collaborate with special education teachers and support personnel. Encourage communication, independence, and positive interaction. Track progress and communicate observations with the family and support team. Ideal Candidate Energetic, patient, creative, and nurturing. Experience with autism, ADHD, or sensory needs . Comfortable using play and movement as part of learning . OT, special education, ABA/behavioral, teaching, or tutoring experience is a plus. Reliable, collaborative, and eager to learn. This is a hands-on, interactive position—not traditional sit-down tutoring. We are looking for someone who enjoys playing, moving, engaging, and creatively helping a child learn and thrive.
