We are looking for tutors who: Want to foster equitable and inclusive classrooms Are passionate about helping youth succeed and grow Will be culturally responsive people who can support students from all backgrounds Build relationships across lines of differences, acting with empathy and compassion Are committed to serving their community Can be flexible and problem-solve in the dynamic school environment Will communicate and collaborate effectively with educators In this position you will: Support grades 9-12 through a combination of push-in classroom support and drop-in tutoring, including some after-school tutoring; emphasis on Algebra and Geometry at Franklin High School (3013 S Mt Baker Blvd, Seattle, WA, 98144) . Assist teachers and other school staff with group instruction, classroom activities, and special projects Build valuable leadership, collaboration, and communication skills Develop professional relationships with faculty, staff, and TIPS administration Receive paid training on Race & Equity in Education, Culturally Responsive Teaching, Student Engagement & Management, creating Inclusive & Welcoming School Environments, Social Emotional Learning strategies, and more! Get paid $25.50/hour Accrue paid sick leave

June 4, 2027 Mondays from 1:45pm to 4:40pm; Tuesdays from 12:25pm to 4:40pm; Thursdays from 12:25pm to 3:40pm 10 hours a week Schedule is fixed to meet school's needs Follows Seattle Public Schools schedule for breaks and holidays Applications open until position filled. Questions?
