Job Description

Job Overview Are you passionate about youth sports and making a positive impact in your community? We're seeking high-energy and motivated Officials to referee youth soccer games (age 3-14). The Official is a critical, hands-on role on any sports field; responsible for enforcing rules while also cultivating a positive culture, acting as an on-field coach, and advocating for the sports programs. This role has a direct impact on players, coaches, and spectators each and every game day. This position is based in the Hayward / San Leandro Area, California. Duties Understand & enforce the i9 Sports rule books while ensuring a fun, educational, and safe environment for all players Teach & demonstrate core concepts, including Sportsmanship values Keep time and score during the game Manage an age-appropriate level of instruction and competition Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills
Position Type :
Part-Time W-2 Employee (usually on Saturdays) Requirements Enjoy working with kids Knowledge of basic soccer rules and game flow Clean Background Check Reliable transportation to and from games and training Be confident and capable of dealing with parents and upholding the i9 Sports philosophy Excellent communication skills Ability to work on the weekends (this role is primarily focused on Saturday games) Previous experience is a plus, but not required. Pay:
$20.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 3.0 - 6.0 per week Application Question(s): Are you available to work in Hayward, with your own transportation? Are you able to work on the weekends (most Saturdays)? Are you knowledgeable about soccer rules and soccer technique?
