In this paid role, you will be responsible for officiating soccer matches, ensuring that rules are followed, and maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone involved. Your energetic presence and clear communication will help foster a positive sporting experience while upholding the integrity of the game. This is for a Men's and Coed league. In Riverbank California. Games are Tuesday and Thursday night. Looking to fill the position soon. Responsibilities Officiate soccer matches by enforcing game rules and regulations with confidence and fairness Make quick, accurate decisions on fouls, goals, and game flow to ensure smooth gameplay Communicate clearly with players, coaches, and spectators to explain calls and manage disputes effectively Monitor player conduct to promote sportsmanship and resolve conflicts promptly Ensure safety protocols are followed during all matches, including injury management and emergency procedures Keep detailed records of game incidents, scores, and disciplinary actions when necessary Collaborate with event organizers to prepare fields, equipment, and schedules for matches Skills Strong knowledge of soccer rules and gameplay mechanics Experience in sports coaching or officiating is highly desirable Excellent conflict management skills to handle disputes calmly and professionally Exceptional communication skills to convey decisions clearly and maintain positive interactions Ability to work effectively with children and youth athletes in a lively environment Demonstrated ability to stay alert, make quick decisions, and maintain focus during fast-paced games Join us in shaping memorable sporting moments!
