Here's what you would do: Plan and teach youth in at least 2 different types of sports classes, using your sports experience and education Interact, and encourage the children to participate in the activities during classes Teach/Model appropriate techniques and skills. Communicates effectively with students in a patient, friendly manner Show how you are a positive role model "OK, I'm sold!" What do I need to qualify? Must be 18 or older CPR/AED/First Aid from one of the following certifying organizations: American Safety & Health Institute American Heart Association American Red Cross Knowledge and expertise in at least 2-3 different sports Ability to communicate effectively to youth participants and their parents/guardians. Ability to plan, lead and participate in Sports activities. Ability to lift equipment, and to lift a small to average size child. Ability to see and supervise children. Ability to instruct and observe participants in proper sports techniques Available weekdays or Saturdays between 9:00 am and 11:00 am and/or 3:00 pm - 6:30 pm
