Job Description
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Referee to oversee sports games and ensure fair play that has had experience playing and refereeing the sport of Basketball. The ideal candidate should have a passion for sports and possess excellent conflict management skills.Referee Duties:
Officiate sports games ensuring all rules are followed Enforce sportsmanship and fair play among players Make real-time decisions on game-related issues Communicate effectively with players, coaches, and spectators Provide coaching or guidance to players when necessarySite Coordinator Duties:
Assist with coordinating and managing adult sports leagues Set-up and tear-down of equipment Greeting and engaging with players Supporting referees/officials Ensure game schedule is followed and scores are recorded Handling basic conflict resolution Support marketing efforts, including social media content and event coverage Provide general administrative support to the Sport & Social teamRequirements:
- Strong conflict management skills to handle disputes on the court
- Experience in sports coaching or officiating, preferably in basketball
- Ability to effectively communicate with players of all ages, including children
- Knowledge of game rules and regulations to enforce them fairly and consistently
- Energetic personality to encourage fun and welcoming games for all players
