This paid position offers an opportunity to combine your love of sports, coaching expertise, and enthusiasm for fostering active lifestyles. Whether you're instructing beginners or leading advanced players, your energy and dedication will help elevate the pickleball experience for everyone. Responsibilities Lead engaging pickleball coaching sessions tailored to various skill levels, from beginners to advanced players Organize and oversee recreational games, tournaments, and clinics to promote active participation Ensure the safety of all participants by monitoring court conditions and enforcing club rules Provide clear instructions on game rules, techniques, and sportsmanship to players of all ages Maintain equipment and court cleanliness to uphold a professional and welcoming environment Communicate effectively with clients, parents, and team members to coordinate schedules and address concerns Support the development of new programs or events that foster community involvement and promote healthy activity Requirements Prior experience as a sports coach or instructor, preferably with pickleball or similar racquet sports Background in Lifeguard experience, swimming, martial arts (such as Karate or Judo), or other physical education teaching roles is highly desirable Strong communication skills with the ability to engage children and adults alike Experience working with children or in childcare settings; patience and behavior management skills are essential Knowledge of AED operation, First Aid, CPR certification required or willing to obtain upon hire Familiarity with sports-specific training instruction, soccer coaching, basketball, cheerleading, climbing or gym experience is a plus Demonstrated team leadership abilities with a proactive attitude toward safety and customer service Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings as needed Join us at Ace Pickleball Club where your enthusiasm for sports meets the opportunity to inspire others!
