Coordinates, supports, and assists with various aspects of youth clinic programs. This includes but is not limited to basketball, flag football, soccer, softball, tumbling and volleyball.
Essential Functions:
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during practice and games.
- Represents the YMCA and maintains appropriate relationships with members, parents and youth.
- Assists with leadership of volunteer coaches.
- Assist in the monitoring of inventory of department equipment and ensure effective, safe use.
- Assists in daily sports operations.
- Serves as a positive role model to all participants.
- Keeps score for games.
- Perform all safety and emergency procedures as needed.
- Ensure all First Coast YMCA standards and best practices are implemented and followed.
- Applies YMCA policies and procedures, including those related to best practices, emergency procedures, medical and disciplinary situations and child abuse prevention.
- Ensures the health and safety of all members/guests.
- Inspect physical space to ensure the safety, orderliness, sanitation and cleanliness of facilities.

1. At least 16 years of age. 2. Must possess a strong work-ethic. 3. Ability to multi-task during high traffic time periods 4. Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community.
