Job Description

Job Overview Join our dynamic athletic program as the Boys Varsity and/or Boys JV Soccer Coach . This exciting role offers the opportunity to inspire young athletes, develop their skills, and foster a love for Soccer while promoting teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship. You will lead practices, coordinate game strategies, and serve as a positive role model both on and off the court. This paid position is perfect for energetic individuals passionate about coaching, mentoring students, and contributing to a vibrant school community. Duties Plan and execute engaging practices that improve individual skills and team cohesion in Soccer. Develop game strategies, analyze opponent tactics, and make real-time decisions during competitions. Foster a positive team environment that emphasizes sportsmanship, respect, and personal growth. Mentor student-athletes on leadership, behavior management, and goal setting to enhance their overall development. Coordinate with school staff to ensure adherence to athletic policies and safety protocols. Communicate regularly with players' families regarding team progress and upcoming events. Organize team events such as tryouts, tournaments, and community outreach activities. Maintain accurate records of attendance, performance statistics, and disciplinary actions when necessary. Requirements Proven experience in sports coaching or teaching physical education, preferably with youth or high school students. Strong knowledge of basketball rules, techniques, and game strategies. Background in sports-related activities . Experience working with children or adolescents in childcare or educational settings. Ability to manage behavior effectively and promote a respectful team culture. Excellent communication skills to motivate students and collaborate with staff and parents. Certifications or experience in Lifeguarding or health club management are advantageous but not required. Passion for mentoring young athletes and fostering their personal growth through sports engagement.
