$15 per game with opportunities for advancement and increased pay based on performance, experience, and training

Fridays, Saturdays, and occasional weeknight games About The Officials Network The Officials Network is dedicated to developing and supporting sports officials throughout the St. Louis region. We provide training, mentorship, and officiating opportunities for individuals looking to begin or advance their careers as sports officials. Our mission is to ensure that every game is conducted with professionalism, fairness, and integrity while creating positive experiences for athletes, coaches, and spectators. Position Summary The Flag Football Official is responsible for enforcing league rules, maintaining game flow, ensuring player safety, and promoting sportsmanship during youth flag football games. This position is ideal for individuals interested in sports, leadership, and community involvement. No prior officiating experience is required; training will be provided. Responsibilities Officiate youth flag football games according to league rules and regulations. Maintain a safe and fair playing environment. Enforce rules consistently and professionally. Manage game timing and field operations. Communicate effectively with coaches, players, parents, and league staff. Address sportsmanship and conduct concerns appropriately. Submit game reports or incident reports when necessary. Attend required training sessions and officials meetings. Arrive at assigned games on time and in proper uniform. QualificationsRequired Must be at least 16 years old. Reliable transportation or dependable means of getting to assigned games. Strong communication skills. Ability to work in a team environment. Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure. Willingness to learn and receive training. Preferred Previous officiating experience. Experience participating in football, flag football, or other sports. Experience working with youth athletes. Interest in pursuing additional officiating opportunities in football, basketball, baseball, or softball. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to move quickly during game situations. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Compensation & Benefits Starting pay of $15 per game . Paid training opportunities.
