Job Description

Youth Sports Referee (Part Time)
Starting Date:
Saturday, June 27
Pay:
$12 to $15 per hour
Age Requirement:
16 years of age or older
Schedule:
Primarily weekends with occasional weekday opportunities About the Position Do you enjoy sports and working with kids? We are looking for energetic, dependable individuals to join our team as Youth Sports Referees. This position is responsible for officiating games while creating a fun, safe, and positive experience for players and families. Referees may officiate a variety of youth sports including basketball, flag football, and soccer. Previous officiating experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. Responsibilities Officiate youth sports games in a safe and positive environment Enforce game rules fairly and consistently Communicate professionally with coaches, parents, players, and fellow staff members Encourage sportsmanship and positive attitudes among players and spectators Arrive on time and prepared for assigned game days Assist with basic field or court setup as needed Maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times Qualifications Must be at least 16 years old Knowledge of basketball, flag football, or soccer is preferred Strong communication and leadership skills Comfortable working with children ages 3 through 14 Ability to remain calm and make decisions confidently Reliable transportation to assigned venues Weekend availability is required What We Offer Competitive pay ranging from $12 to $15 per hour Paid training Flexible weekend schedules Opportunities for advancement A fun and energetic work environment The opportunity to make a positive impact on young athletes Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate enjoys sports, loves working with children, communicates well with others, and is passionate about creating a positive youth sports experience.
