Job Description
The Youth & Adult Sports Internship provides hands-on experience in the administration and operation of YMCA programs.
Youth Sports Programs May Include:
Jr. Loper Basketball Jr. Loper Indoor Soccer Jr. Loper Flag Football (Fall & Spring) Jr. Loper Volleyball (Fall & Spring) Rookies Sports | Ages 2-6 |Basketball, Tumbling, Soccer, T-ball & Football Marathon Kids Run Club Sports Performance Training Seasonal Clinics & Camps Adult Sports Programs May Include:
Flag Football Basketball Volleyball Indoor Soccer Experience Areas:
Program development Registration processes Scheduling practices and games Tournament management Volunteer recruitment and support Staff evaluation Risk management Marketing and promotions Site supervision Coaching and officiating Equipment purchasing and inventory Customer service Participant surveys Essential Responsibilities Assist in managing youth and adult sports programs Schedule practices, games, and tournaments Set up and tear down program sites Support scorekeeping, officiating, and coaching Provide guidance to parents, volunteers, and participants Promote YMCA programs Ensure safety standards are met Deliver excellent customer service Represent YMCA Core Values at all times Training Requirements (Complete Within 90 Days) New Employee Orientation Blood Borne Pathogens (Online) Child Abuse Prevention (Online)Heads Up:
