Job Description

Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Pickleball Instructor, where you will energize and motivate players of all skill levels to enjoy and excel in this fast-growing sport! In this role, you will lead engaging pickleball classes, organize friendly matches, and foster a fun, inclusive environment that encourages teamwork and physical activity. Your enthusiasm and expertise will inspire participants to improve their skills while having a great time on the court. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to promote healthy lifestyles through the sport of pickleball. Responsibilities Lead group and individual pickleball lessons tailored to various skill levels, from beginners to advanced players Organize and facilitate friendly matches, tournaments, and practice sessions to promote community engagement Demonstrate proper pickleball techniques, rules, and safety protocols to ensure a positive experience for all participants Provide clear instruction on game strategies, scoring, and sportsmanship to foster a respectful playing environment Monitor court conditions and equipment to maintain safety standards and ensure optimal playing conditions Engage with participants of all ages, including children and adults, promoting active participation and enjoyment Collaborate with facility staff to schedule classes, tournaments, and special events that highlight pickleball's benefits Requirements Proven experience in sports coaching or teaching physical education, with a focus on racket sports preferred Strong background in pickleball; certification is a plus Experience working with children and adults in recreational or educational settings Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage behavior and motivate diverse groups of learners Knowledge of safety procedures related to sports instruction and court maintenance Background in lifeguard experience, martial arts (such as Karate or Judo), swimming, cheerleading, climbing, or other physical activities is advantageous Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed Join us in creating an energetic environment where players can develop their skills, enjoy healthy competition, and build lasting friendships through pickleball!
Pay:
$30.00 - $80.00 per hour
