As a Referee, you will be responsible for enforcing game rules, maintaining order on the field or court, and making decisive calls that uphold the integrity of the game. Duties Enforce game rules consistently and fairly during sporting events to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants. Make prompt, accurate decisions on fouls, penalties, and game violations based on established regulations. Communicate clearly with players, coaches, officials, and spectators to explain calls and maintain order on the field or court. Manage game flow efficiently by starting and stopping play as needed while adhering to scheduled timelines. Collaborate with other officials to ensure cohesive officiating and resolve disputes professionally. Maintain detailed records of game incidents, penalties, and scoring when required for official reports. Stay updated on rule changes and participate in ongoing training sessions to enhance officiating skills. Experience Proven experience in sports officiating or refereeing at competitive levels, preferably with field or court sports such as soccer, basketball, football, or similar disciplines. Demonstrated ability to make quick decisions under pressure with confidence and fairness. Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills to handle disputes diplomatically. Excellent communication skills for clear interactions with players, coaches, spectators, and fellow officials. Familiarity with sports rules, regulations, and safety protocols relevant to the specific sport officiated. Experience in customer service or client communication is a plus for engaging positively with event attendees. Proficiency in using digital tools such as CRM systems or officiating software is advantageous for record keeping.
