This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys sports, working outdoors, and helping create a fun and organized league experience for participants. Kickball games are scheduled on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings , with shifts running from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM . The season begins April 21, 2026 . Umpires are paid $20 per game and also receive a free gym membership as part of the position. Primary Responsibilities Officiate kickball games in a fair, consistent, and professional manner Enforce league rules and maintain control of gameplay Communicate clearly with players, team captains, and league staff Assist with pre-game field and equipment set-up Help with post-game tear-down and clean-up Ensure games begin on time and run smoothly throughout the evening Promote a positive, recreational, and sportsmanlike atmosphere Qualifications Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions during games Dependable and punctual Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to stand and move for extended periods during shifts
