Job Description

Job Summary:
Game Support Student workers assist with a variety of essential game day responsibilities, including scoreboard operations, event management, ticketing, and game support. This position is ideal for students looking to gain experience in athletics, event operations, and sports management while working in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Operating the scoreboard, game clock, and shot clock Assisting as a ball runner Working the scorer s table Performing volleyball and basketball stat/bookkeeping Staffing the ticket and will-call booth Serving as a parking attendant Participating as the mascot or mascot escort Other duties as assigned Education Employment eligibility: Currently enrolled Delaware Valley University student Must be authorized to work in the United States and provide required documentation to verify identity and employment eligibility
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
Interest in sports (no prior playing experience required) Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment Professionalism and reliability are essential
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions :
Typically standing or walking Typically bending, crouching, stooping Climbing bleachers Outdoor exposure to weather High noise environment May have an alternative work schedule Occasionally lifting 25 lbs or more
