Job Description
Job Summary The student worker will assist the AT/SM Staff in the set-up/break down of athletic practices/games that will occur on the Del Val Athletic fields. They will also assist in the monitoring and observation of student athletes for any obvious signs of injury or illness that may occur during practices/games while being supervised by a member of the full-time Del Val AT/SM staff. Essential Duties and Responsibilities These are tasks, duties and responsibilities of the position that should be listed in order of importance. How to determine if a responsibility is essential: Pre-practice or pre-game set up of necessary AT/SM equipment. Filling and maintaining water coolers, water bottles, and ice chests during practices/games. Driving golf cart for purposes of setting up AT/SM equipment necessary to cover athletic practices/games, filling and maintain hydration stations, transporting injured/ill S-A s off the athletic filed to the sideline, satellite AT facility, or main AT facility for further assessment and treatment as determined by any certified professional member of the AT/SM staff. Observing practice/game to monitor for potential injury and notify AT covering if they see something that needs further investigation.
