  • Part-time, Full-time Member of coaching staff responsible for upholding the mission, vision and values of the club while guiding players through their youth soccer journey Plan and prepare training sessions, games and tournaments in alignment with the club's annual training plan to maximize player development Development of technically skilled, confident and creative players who are adaptable to the future demands of the game.
Follow coaching standards, responsibilities and general guidelines which will be provided by technical director at the start of the season Work in partnership with parents and volunteers in an atmosphere of mutual respect, trust, and open communication Qualifications / Requirements USSF license or equivalent Reliable transportation and willingness to travel Availability during weekends and evenings Ability to communicate effectively to players and families Passionate and motivated to inspire developing youth players Downtown United Soccer Club, Inc. is organized as a 501c(3) not for profit entity to educate, train and inspire youth soccer players of all ages and abilities in a positive, respectful, supportive environment. To foster a community that reflects the diversity of New York City in which children can develop a lifelong love for the beautiful game and realize their full potential as both players and people.
