In this role, you will lead engaging activities, officiate games with integrity, and inspire participants of all ages to develop their athletic skills and teamwork.

Your enthusiasm for sports—specifically basketball, volleyball, soccer, flag football, or baseball—combined with excellent communication and conflict management skills, will help create a positive experience for our community. This paid position offers a flexible schedule and the opportunity to grow with a new company here in Knoxville. Responsibilities
  • Organize and oversee sports activities and tournaments to ensure smooth operations and engagement.
  • Officiate games with impartiality, enforcing rules consistently and confidently.
  • Teach fundamental sports skills to children and youth, emphasizing teamwork, sportsmanship, and safety.
  • Manage on-field conflicts using effective resolution techniques to maintain a respectful environment.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with players, coaches, parents, and staff.
  • Monitor safety protocols to ensure a secure environment for all participants.
  • Assist in developing training sessions to enhance participants' athletic abilities.
  • Model and promote sportsmanship while ensuring a fun atmosphere for everyone. Experience and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in sports coaching or refereeing (basketball, volleyball, soccer, baseball, or flag football).
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children and youth in a sports setting.
  • Strong conflict management skills and the ability to handle disputes professionally.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to engage with diverse groups of participants and parents.
  • Prior experience organizing sports activities or educational programs is preferred.
